Natsværmeren is a daily two-hour programme set out to mix calm “evening-oriented” music from various genres, eras and parts of the world. The programme has existed for over ten years already and is currently hosted by Minna Grooss, Katrine Ring and Tina Rømer. I’m very pleased to be joining the team. I wrote and recorded the music in the first months of 2018. My aim was to capture the fragility of a broken father-son-relationship through instruments typical in a living room environment. I based the instrumentation around piano, harmonium, acoustic guitars and double bass. The soundtrack was recorded at Black Tornado Studios by Joe Strauss and played by myself. Watch the movie. I’m very happy to share this with you. We started working intensively on the record in the late summer of 2017 together with our great associate Nikolaj Nielsen. The attitude was create the music as a collage of recorded samples from our own lives. We worked in ArtFREQ- and Black Tornado Studios. Cover artwork was done by Bjarke Stenbæk Kristensen who also did the music video for the first single, Evig morgen. The record is released by Sony Music. Listen the album here.
